Whaddaya wanna know?

Some of your questions. And some of my answers.

Can you make a version which gets a photo from an external file, so users can upload their own blastee?

I hadn't planned to do anything like that, but sites which allow you to upload your own image already exist anyway. Try shoot-it.org, for starters! You don't get the blood splats, but it's still good for "stress relief"...

Can you make a version which has (Saddam Hussein/Osama Bin Laden/George Bush/Tony Blair/Peter Mandelson/John Prescott/Michael Jackson/J-Lo/Will Young/Steve Irwin/Harold Shipman/Jonathan King/PETA members/NHS managers/ex-partners/illegal immigrants/pigeons/chickens/prairie dogs/possums/puppies) in it?

Um, no. This site is for kittens. If you have a desire to shoot something other than kittens on your computer, try shoot-it.org.

Why can't we shoot at you instead, you sick bastard?

Er, actually you can. I've adapted a prototype of CKS2 and put my head in it, here. Or you can follow the "CKS 2 Redux" link at the top of the page. My head won't explode like the kittens do, but you can blast away to your heart's content. Remember, if you play it, it's on proviso that you don't to shoot at me for real.

Is there any way I can download the games so I don't have to connect to the internet to play them?

Currently, it's possible with Clay Kitten Shooting 1 and I'll be putting an EXE download of it on this site soon anyway. But, Clay Kitten Shooting 2 consists of several files, all of which are loaded from specific places on the internet, so it won't be possible. Sorry!

Can you add a pause (paws?) button to Clay Kitten 2?

It doesn't need one --once you've hit a kitten, it's "locked" onscreen until you blow it to mushy pieces --and you've got as long as you need to finish it off...

Are you making Clay Kitten 3?

Not at present. Got other things "in the pipeline", watch this space!

Why doesn't CKS2 have any background images?

Simple: to make the game run more efficiently. During the game, when there are a lot of blood splats onscreen, the Flash plug-in has lots to draw and this can slow performance down quite considerably. Adding holiday snaps in the background would only add to the problem! (Plus, the blood shows up better on white...)
